Mahera Ahmed, MA, LMFT, is a dedicated clinician with specialized training and experience supporting youth with headaches and disorders of gut–brain interaction (DGBIs). Mahera’s clinical foundation comes from working across fast-paced medical and behavioral health settings, where she learned to stay grounded, think flexibly, and offer steady, compassionate care. These experiences strengthened her commitment to culturally responsive, person-centered work and shape the calm, collaborative style she brings to every session. In addition to medical concerns, she has experience providing therapy to adolescents navigating substance use, emotional challenges, and high-stress environments.

Mahera is passionate about helping young people build confidence, develop effective coping skills, and feel understood as they manage their health and emotional well-being. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, exploring new food spots, and unwinding with a good game night—moments that keep her grounded and remind her of the importance of connection, something she brings into her work with every family.
