Dr. Lazarus (she/her) is a pediatric psychologist with specialized training in treating chronic pain including headaches, abdominal pain, and gastrointestinal concerns. After completing her PhD in Counseling Psychology at the University of Miami, she returned home to the Bay Area to complete her predoctoral internship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where she specialized in eating disorder treatment, and her postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric pain psychology at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Dr. Lazarus has extensive experience providing evidence-based care to youth with a range of pain conditions, including musculoskeletal pain, complex regional pain syndrome, and perioperative pain and works more broadly with pediatric health concerns including diabetes, needle phobias, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, eating disorders, and other co-occurring physical and mental health conditions. Her approach is warm, collaborative, gender-affirming, and culturally responsive.
When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, eating food from around the world, and spending time in the outdoors with her husband and dog, Gobi.
