Research at Streamind Health
Streamind Health is a research-active pediatric behavioral health practice. Our team develops and studies better ways to deliver evidence-based behavioral care to children and teens with GI conditions, headache and other health concerns.

NIH-funded innovation
Streamind is the recipient of a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) at the National Institutes of Health. The project, A Digital Therapy Platform to Improve Access to Cognitive Behavioral Treatment for Youth with Chronic Headaches, runs from September 2026 through August 2027 and focuses on building a digital platform that pairs live therapy with app-based tools, making evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for headaches easier for children and teens to access. Working with youth, caregivers, and clinicians, and with research partners at the University of Colorado, we are designing the platform and testing how easy it is to use and how well it fits into real-world care.
Additional Support
Our work has also been supported by the American Psychological Foundation, the HERIF Foundation and a grant from the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN).
