for GI Discomfort

Why
The treatment is highly effective.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for pediatric GI is considered a first line treatment for Disorders of the Gut Brain Interaction (DGBIs) including chronic abdominal pain, nausea, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

The treatment is difficult to access.
Most community mental health providers do not have the very specific training and skillset needed to effectively deliver CBT for GI Discomfort. As a result, many families struggle to find evidence-based behavioral GI care when they need it.

It's what we're here to do.

Our GI intervention is designed by leading experts in GI behavioral management. All Streamind providers have intensive training and receive ongoing mentorship in CBT for GI discomfort. This is not general therapy--it's targeted, condition-specific care.
